The Warwick Valley Chorale, Orange County’s continually active and most distinguished community chorus, is proud and excited to present its 71st Annual Spring Concert, “American Reflections.”  Under the wonderful direction of Stanley Curtis and accompaniment by Gail Johnson, Chorale members will perform a variety of types of music including sacred, folk, patriotic and contemporary selections.  The music featured in this program will include Gordon Young’s “Missa Exultate”, John Leavitt’s “Missa Festiva”, Gwyneth Walker’s “New Millennium Suite”, Mark Wilberg’s “Anthem of Peace”, Irving Berlin’s much loved “God Bless America”, along with several other selections.

Friday, May 18, 2012, 7:30 PM:  Goshen United Methodist Church, 115 Main St, Goshen, NY

Sunday, May 20, 2012, 7:30 PM:  Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave, Warwick, NY

Our local concert venues are presented as free admission; however, donations are gratefully accepted to support the Chorale.

Warwick Valley Chorale members will have the privilege of performing the “American Reflections” part of our program, the Gwyneth Walker, patriotic and folk selections on June 5^th at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall.  The Chorale will be joining participating groups from Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.  Please feel free to visit our website noted below for further ticket information and details.

The Warwick Valley Chorale has participated in many local events including dedications for World War II veterans, Viet Nam Memorial and World Trade Center Memorial; Home for the Holidays annually; and with the West Point Concert Band.  The Warwick Valley Chorale has also performed in more than a dozen concerts at the ever famous Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, as well as becoming internationally known by participating in concert programs in Czechoslovakia, Spain, Australia, China, and in Greece.
