LEED for Homes is a consensus-developed, third party-verified, voluntary rating system which promotes the design and construction of high-performance green homes.

Speaker: Maureen Mahle is an engineer and specialist in high performance homes. As a VP and Director of SWA’s Sustainable Housing Services, Ms. Mahle provides expert sustainable design, specification, and construction consulting for a variety of project types including community developments, private residences, mixed-use, and multifamily buildings.
As a Provider for the U.S. Green Building Council LEED® for Homes™ program, she has approved over 1,000 housing units in 10 states for certification under the program since 2005, and is currently overseeing the certification of more than 5000 residential units in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia
