Sustainable Warwick presents Compost Fair :: Home and Garden

Sustainable Warwick will sponsor a Compost Fair on Earth Day. It will be at the Community Center and will focus on composting in Warwick - new developments, how-to demonstrations, answers to questions, and ... 2 special events:

First would be a film screening of the movie "Fresh" which "celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system." (Check out www.freshthemovie.com for more details.)

Second ... the star of the show, the Earth Machine. Through a special arrangement with the Canadian manufacturer of the highly-rated Earth Machine, SW is able to offer these $100 machines at a special price of $42. If interested in purchasing the composter, contact Geoff Howard by April 9th at howards@warwick.net.

Other activities include:

Smoothie Tasting
Talks about composting; Dave Washburn and his "red wrigglers" will also be there to talk about vermiculture (worms) and composting
Booths or tables with composting information
Distribution of the pre-ordered and pre-paid Earth Machines
Sustainable Warwick Table
Tours of the Community Garden
